Forward Global Credit Long/Short Fund opts to become non-diversified

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 8 - The board of trustees of the Forward Global Credit Long/Short Fund unanimously approved the fund operating as a non-diversified fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Effective May 1, this change will allow the fund to relax the limits on the percentage of its assets invested in the securities of a single issuer. As a non-diversified investment company, the fund will be able to invest a larger percentage of its assets in the securities of a small number of issuers.

San Francisco-based Forward Management serves as the investment adviser.
