Fitch affirms Fortis Bank (Nederland)

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Fortis Bank (Nederland)s long-term issuer default rating at A+ and short-term issuer default rating at F1+.

The ratings reflect potential support from the Dutch state in case of need, Fitch said.

Its ratings also consider the challenge of accessing a large part of funding from the capital markets, pressure on profitability and higher-than-average operational risk, the agency said.
