Chicago, Sept. 7 – Formosa Plastics Corp. sold a NT$7.5 billion issue of bonds in two parts, according to a supplement.
The board of directors approved the issue in mid-December 2020.
The breakdown of the issue was unspecified in the notice.
From the two parts, the five-year notes have a 0.46% coupon and the seven-year notes have a 0.52% coupon.
Both notes were sold at par.
The lead underwriter is Yuanta Securities Co., Ltd.
The proceeds will be used to pay off loans.
Formosa Plastics is a plastic producer based in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
