Allianz AGIC International Growth Opportunities to swap subadviser

By Tali David

Minneapolis, April 4 - Allianz Funds Multi-Strategy Trust announced that its board of trustees approved a subadviser change to the Allianz AGIC International Growth Opportunities Fund, according to a 497 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Subject to shareholder approval, the fund's management will transition to RCM Capital Management LLC on or about July 13.

If and when RCM takes over portfolio management responsibilities, the fund's name will be changed to Allianz RCM International Small-Cap Fund.

In addition, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings made for investment purposes, in companies with smaller market capitalizations. Currently, there is no specific minimum tied to this type of investment.

The fund will also change its benchmark index to the MSCI World ex-USA Small Cap Index from the S&P Developed ex-US Small Cap Growth Index.

Also subject to approval, the new portfolio managers would be Andrew Neville, Dennis Lai and Koji Nakatsuka.

The fund's investment manager is New York-based Allianz Global Investors Fund Management LLC. Its current subadviser is Allianz Global Investors Capital Management LLC.
