Bank of Montreal to price notes linked to Ameriprise SRI stocks

Madison, Wis., July 8 – Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% notes due Aug. 5, 2016 linked to 14 common stocks selected by Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.’s investment research group for its sustainable and responsible investing equity focus list, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The 14 reference shares are Apple Inc., ACE Ltd., Bank of America Corp., Costco Wholesale Corp., Walt Disney Co., Ford Motor Co., Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark Corp., Coca-Cola Co., Kroger Co., Starbucks Corp., Waste Management, Inc., WhiteWave Foods Co. and Xylem Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par of $1,000 times the basket level percentage times 99.1%.

The basket level percentage is the sum of the weighted reference share performances, which include the payment of dividends.

The basket level percentage must exceed 100.91% to break even.

The notes will price on July 28 settle on July 31.

The Cusip number is 06366RS71.
