Ford Credit de Mexico to sell Ps. 530 million in two tranches of certificados bursatiles Wednesday

New York, Oct. 4 - Ford Credit de Mexico SA de CV Sofol said it plans to issue Ps. 530 million in certificados bursatiles via an auction on Wednesday

The company plans to sell Ps. 475 million of 28-day certificados bursatiles (MX-1/mxA-1/F1+mex)). The issue will carry a maturity date of Nov. 3, 2005.

The second tranche includes Ps. 55 million of 112-day certificados bursatiles (MX-1/mxA-1/F1+(mex)). The maturity date is Jan. 26, 2005.

Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa SA de CV is auction agent for both transactions.

Settlement is scheduled for Thursday. Ford Motor Credit Co. will guarantee the issue.

The 28-day certificate is 009 in Ford Credit's certificados bursatiles program and the 112-day certificate is 010.

The issuer, based in Mexico City, is a financial arm for Ford Motor Co.
