Morgantown, W.Va., May 10 – Fonciere des Regions announced it priced its first issue of green bonds, totaling €500 million, on Monday.
The 10-year bonds were priced with a 1.875% coupon, or 137 basis points above the swap rate.
The notes have been more than five times oversubscribed, the company said in a press release.
This issue will be used to finance or refinance office buildings under development or recently delivered and with a HQE (minimum target of 9/14) or Breeam (very good and above) certification.
Settlement is expected to occur on May 20.
Fonciere des Regions is a Paris-based real estate developer.
