Barclays plans 7%-9.5% trigger yield notes linked to Fluor via UBS

Chicago, July 1 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 7% to 9.5% annualized trigger yield optimization notes due Jan. 13, 2012 linked to Fluor Corp. shares, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The face amount of each note will be equal to the initial price of Fluor stock.

Interest will be payable monthly.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the final price of Fluor stock is less than 80% of the initial share price, in which case investors will receive one Fluor share per note.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and Barclays Capital Inc. are the agents.

The notes will price on July 8 and settle on July 13.

The Cusip number is 06741K163.
