S&P: Flowserve view positive

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Flowserve Corp. to positive from stable.

S&P also affirmed its other ratings on the company, including the BB+ corporate credit rating and the BB+ secured bank loan ratings. The 3 recovery rating on the debt remains unchanged.

"This action recognizes the good performance at Flowserve," S&P credit analyst John Sico said in a news release, "and if financial policy remains disciplined, we could raise the rating in the intermediate term."
