Moody's rates Florida hurricane bonds Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 rating to the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund Finance Corp.'s $625 million series 2008A revenue bonds.

The expected sale date is July 14.

The bonds, which are tax-exempt and have a six-year final maturity, are being issued to pay claims remaining from the 2005 storms.

Moody's affirmed the Aa3 rating on outstanding parity debt issued by the corporation.
