Department of Management Services, Fla., to price $140 million COPs

Tupelo, Miss., Feb. 13 - The Department of Management Services of Florida intends to sell $140 million in certificates of participation, according to a notice of sale from the state.

The certificates may be sold on a competitive or negotiated basis.

If the bonds are sold through a competitive sale, the first date the bonds may be sold is Tuesday, according to the state's bond division.

Florida typically sells bonds on a competitive basis with an 18-hour notice.
