Fitch rates Fla. environmental bonds A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A+ rating to about $265.3 million of Florida Department of Environmental Protection Florida Forever revenue and revenue refunding bonds, series 2008A.

Fitch also said it affirmed the A+ rating of the department's approximately $2.6 billion of outstanding Preservation 2000 and Florida Forever bonds, $200 million of outstanding Florida Everglades bonds and $60 million of outstanding Save Our Coast bonds.

The outlook is stable.
