Fitch assigns A to Florida lottery bonds

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A rating to the state of Florida's $200 million series 2008B lottery revenue bonds to be issued on behalf of the State Board of Education. The outlook is stable.

The bonds are expected to be issued the week of July 28 and will be issued with 18 hours notice.

Fitch also affirmed the A rating on $2.5 billion in outstanding lottery revenue bonds.
