Moody's gives Aa1 to Florida education bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a rating of Aa1 to Florida's $200 million state board of education public education capital outlay bonds, 2006 series E.

The expected sale date is June 24.

Bond proceeds will be used to finance capital projects for the state system of public education.

The outlook is negative. Moody's also affirmed the Aa1 rating and negative outlook on the state's outstanding general obligation bonds.
