S&P rates Florida transportation bonds AAA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AAA rating to Florida's series 2008A department of transportation right-of-way acquisition and bridge construction bonds.

The bonds are dated Feb. 1, 2008 and due July 1, 2008 through 2037.

S&P also said it affirmed its AAA rating on the state's approximately $12.8 billion of full faith and credit debt.

The outlook is stable.
