Fitch rates Manatee County, Fla., school board COPs A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A rating to the School Board of Manatee County, Fla.'s approximately $56.9 million of certificates of participation (Florida Master Lease Program), series 2008A.

This issuance was formally the series 2007A certificates of participation, which Fitch withdrew a rating on because they were not issued.

Pricing is scheduled for the week on Feb. 11.

Fitch also said it affirmed its underlying A rating on about $138.3 million of sales tax revenue bonds.

The outlook is stable.
