S&P: Flextronics view positive

Standard & Poor’s said it affirmed its BB+ corporate credit rating on Flextronics International Ltd. and revised the outlook to positive from stable.

At the same time, S&P affirmed the BB+ issue ratings and 3 recovery ratings on the company’s unsecured debt issues.

“The outlook revision to positive from stable reflects our expectation that Flextronics’ ongoing and strategic revenue mix shift will generate moderate profitability improvement and greater operating performance predictability over the near-to-intermediate term,” said S&P credit analyst Martha Toll-Reed in a news release.
