Knoxville, Tenn., March 18 - Fission Energy Corp. said it has settled a private placement of shares, raising C$1 million.
The company sold 1 million common shares at C$1.00 per share to the Waterbury Lake Consortium.
Proceeds will be added to working capital.
Based in Kelowna, B.C., Fission is a uranium exploration and development company with properties in Saskatchewan's Athabasca basin, Alberta, Quebec and an international property in Peru.
