Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 15 - FishWorks plc said it plans a £2,301,000 private placement of shares. Cenkos Securities plc will be the agent.
The company will sell 38.35 million ordinary shares at 6p per share.
Proceeds will be used to turn around the company's underperforming sites, to focus on larger and more profitable outlets and to fund the opening of new sites.
Based in London, FishWorks is a holding company. Its trading subsidiaries include The Fish Market Ltd., operating seafood restaurants with traditional onsite fishmongers and cookery schools, and Channel Fisheries Ltd., which supplies fish to restaurants and hotels.
