Fisher Communications to add Gamco nominees to slate

Charlotte, N.C., March 23 - Fisher Communications, Inc. agreed to nominate two people recommended by Gamco Asset Management Inc. - David Lorber and Paul A. Bible - for election to its board of directors at the 2009 annual meeting.

Gamco agreed to withdraw its slate of director nominees it previously submitted, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In September, Gamco named Fisher Communications as one of 13 companies it believed would benefit from new nominations to their boards of directors.

Gamco beneficially owns 1,766,004 shares, or 20.21%, of the Seattle-based television and radio station operator.
