TowerView increases passive stake to 8.9% in Fisher Communications

Philadelphia, Jan. 5 - TowerView LLC increased its passive stake to 8.9% in Fisher Communications, Inc. as of Dec. 31, according to an SC 13G/A filing.
That represents a passive stake of 773,109 shares.
Those holdings are up from the passive stake of 6.5%, or 564,000 shares, that TowerView reported on Dec. 31, 2007.
On Dec. 3, 2007, the company reported a passive stake of 5%, or 437,000 shares.
On Aug. 17, 2007, it reported a passive stake of 4.9%, or 436,080 shares.
The company first reported owning 5%, or 439,330 shares, on June 5, 2006, according to an SC 13G filing.
Seattle-based Fisher Communications owns television and radio stations.
