FT 3408 offers Baker Boyer Core Equity Portfolio units

San Diego, March 14 - FT 3408 is offering units of its Baker Boyer Core Equity Portfolio, Series 4, according to an S-6 amendment filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Wheaton, Ill.-based First Trust Portfolios LP.

The trust seeks above-average total return by investing in a diversified portfolio of common stocks selected by applying four specialized strategies. The strategies and their approximate weightings include the Target Growth Strategy weighted at 42%, the Target Global Dividend Leaders Strategy weighted at 26%, the Modified S&P Target SMid 60 Strategy weighted at 16% and the MSCI EAFE Target 20 weighted at 16%.

On the March 14 initial date of deposit, $247,340 in contracts to purchase securities comprised the trust. The 24,984 units each have a public offering price of $10 and a net asset value of $9.674. The estimated net annual distribution per unit is $0.1802.

The units each carry a maximum sales charge of 2.95%, consisting of a 1% initial sales charge, a 1.45% deferred sales charge and a 0.5% creation and development fee. The fee may be reduced on a sliding scale to 1.4% depending on the amount of investment.

The trust's mandatory termination date is June 18, 2013.
