Noonday buys additional shares of Alliance Data Systems

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 16 - Alliance Data Systems Corp. investors led by Noonday Asset Management, LP upped their stake in the company to 7.9% from 3.1% with a series of stock purchases between Nov. 2 and Nov. 14.
The 2,243,700 shares were purchased for between $77.35 and $80.24 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
On Oct. 15, Noonday reported a 5.3% stake in the Dallas-based marketing, loyalty and transaction services company. The investor then sold 1.78 million shares on Oct. 31.
As previously reported, Alliance Data Systems agreed to be acquired by Aladdin Holdco, Inc., a Blackstone Capital affiliate, for $81.75 cash per share in a transaction valued at $7.8 billion, including debt. Stockholders approved the deal on Aug. 8.
