Noonday reduces ownership of Alliance Data to 3.1%

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 2 - Alliance Data Systems Corp. investors led by Noonday Asset Management, LP sold 1.78 million shares of the company's stock on Oct. 31 priced from $80.22 to $80.60 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons own 2,404,650 shares, or 3.1%, of the Dallas-based marketing, loyalty and transaction services company.

Noonday reported a 5.3% stake in Alliance Data on Oct. 15.

It was previously reported that on May 17, Alliance Data agreed to be acquired by Aladdin Holdco, Inc., a Blackstone Capital affiliate, for $81.75 cash per share in a transaction valued at $7.8 billion, including debt. Stockholders approved the deal on Aug. 8.
