New Issue: GS Finance sells $4.04 million digital notes on Financial Select Sector

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 28 – GS Finance Corp. priced $4.04 million of 0% digital notes due Jan. 25, 2022 linked to the Financial Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the fund finishes at or above 80% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,300 per $1,000 principal amount.

If the fund falls by more than 20%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline in the fund below the initial level.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
