Credit Suisse plans ARES linked to Financial Select Sector SPDR fund

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 25 - Credit Suisse AG, Nassau Branch plans to price 0% Accelerated Return Equity Securities due Sept. 25, 2012 linked to the Financial Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any increase in the exchange-traded fund's share price, subject to a maximum return of 18% to 22% that will be set at pricing. Investors will be exposed to any decline in the share price.

The notes (Cusip: 22546E2C7) are expected to price March 18 and settle March 25.
