New Issue: UBS prices $695,000 trigger autocallable contingent yield notes on sector funds
By Kiku Steinfeld
Chicago, Dec. 5 – UBS AG, London Branch priced $695,000 of trigger autocallable contingent yield notes due April 4, 2024 linked to the least performing of the Communication Services Select Sector SPDR Fund, the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at the rate of 11.3% per year if the worst performer closes at or above its 72.5% coupon barrier on the related observation date.
The notes will be automatically called at par plus coupon if the worst performer closes at or above its level on any quarterly observation date after six months.
If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon if the worst performer finishes at or above the 72.5% downside threshold. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the worst performer from its initial level.
UBS Securities LLC and UBS Investment Bank are the agents.
