Fifth Third appoints former professor William C. Natcher as a senior portfolio manager

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 17 - Fifth Third Asset Management, Inc. announced it has appointed William C. Natcher as a senior portfolio manager.

Natcher will be joining the Cleveland, Ohio, structured products team, and will report to managing director of structured products Mark Koenig.

Natcher has taught university level courses related to finance, econometrics and quantitative analysis. His most recent position was with Deutsche Bank in their New York office, where he was involved with model building in support of the quantitative process. Natcher holds a doctorate in applied economics from Pennsylvania State University and a master's of science in resource and applied economics from the University of Alaska.

"We are excited to have Bill join the firm to solidify an already strong group. We are now in a position to consider new product concepts that may include international markets or other areas of the domestic markets," Fifth Third Asset Management's president and chief investment officer E. Keith Wirtz said in a press release.

Headquartered in Cincinnati, Fifth Third Asset Management is an investment adviser.
