Fieldex cancels C$3.9 million private placement of units

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 24 - Fieldex Exploration Inc. announced it has canceled its plans to raise C$3.9 million in a private placement of units.

The company said the cancellation is not expected to have any effect on its operations.

Fieldex is a mining company based in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.
