Fidelity Commonwealth Trust drops manager Adams from three funds

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Dec. 8 - Fidelity Commonwealth Trust has modified the portfolio management team for several of its funds, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The changes affect the Fidelity Nasdaq Composite Index Fund, the Fidelity Nasdaq Composite Index Tracking Stock and the Fidelity Series 100 Index Fund.

Jeffrey Adams, who managed the funds since January 2004, no longer is a portfolio manager of the funds. In October, James Francis was added to the portfolio management team for the funds and is the senior portfolio manager.

The fund's adviser is Boston-based Fidelity Management & Research Co. The subadviser is Geode Capital Management, LLC.
