Ferrellgas gets $100 million loan commitment upsizing via BofA Merrill

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, Jan. 19 – Ferrellgas Partners, LP obtained a commitment increase on Thursday that increased its secured credit facility to $700 million from $600 million, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch was the agent and lead arranger.

The company obtained the increase supplement for more liquidity for future acquisitions, working capital needs, capital expenditures and other general partnership purposes, including the refinancing of the company’s debt.

The commitment increase supplement did not change the interest rate or the October 2018 maturity of the secured credit facility, the filing noted.

Ferrellgas is an Overland Park, Kan.-based propane company.
