New Issue: Allen ISD, Texas, sells $54 million school bonds

New York, Oct. 31 - The Allen Independent School District of Texas sold $54 million of series 2013 unlimited tax schoolhouse and refunding bonds, according to a pricing sheet.
The bonds (Aa2/AA/) were sold competitively, but the issuer did not immediately respond to requests for the winning bidder Thursday.
The bonds are due 2014 to 2038 with 3% to 5% coupons with yields from 0.11% to 4.30%.
Proceeds will be used to construct, renovate and improve schools within the district, purchase school buses and make technology upgrades, as well as to refund the district's series 2004 unlimited tax school building and refunding bonds.
