Ramius-led investors own less than 5% of Federal Signal following sale of 576,024 shares

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 10 - Investors led by Ramius LLC, Parche, LLC and Starboard Value and Opportunity Master Fund Ltd. sold 576,024 shares of Federal Signal Corp., decreasing their interest in the company to 4.97%.

It was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the shares were sold between Aug. 5 and Sept. 8 priced from $14.4827 to $16.1092 each.

Ramius and its affiliates beneficially own 2,359,801 shares of Federal Signal, an Oak Brook, Ill.-based company focused on security technology and industrial tooling.
