Fitch ups Far Eastern International Bank view to stable

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlook of Far Eastern International Bank to stable from negative and affirmed its long-term issuer default rating at BBB, national long-term rating at A+(twn), short-term rating at F3, national short-term rating at F1(twn), individual rating at C and support rating at 4.

The bank's ratings reflect its sound capital adequacy and normalization in the asset quality of its unsecured consumer lending portfolio, Fitch said. They also take into account the bank's relatively tight liquidity position and its high loan-to-deposit ratio, the agency added.
