Fannie Mae plans to redeem $1.5 billion medium-term notes at par

San Diego, Sept. 13 - Fannie Mae said that it will redeem $1.495 billion of its medium-term notes, according to a press release.
The redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.
Affected are the following securities, which will be redeemed Sept. 23:
• $100 million of 2% notes due Sept. 23, 2014;
• $50 million of 2.25% notes due Sept. 23, 2016;
• $50 million of 1% notes due Dec. 23, 2022;
• $50 million of 2.25% notes due Sept. 23, 2019;
• $50 million of 2.8% notes due Sept. 23, 2020;
• $50 million of 2.375% notes due Dec. 23, 2019;
• $130 million of 2.05% notes due Dec. 23, 2025;
• $50 million of 2.4% notes due March 23, 2020;
• $50 million of 2% notes due March 23, 2021;
• $50 million of 1.25% notes due March 23, 2021;
• $150 million of 2.2% notes due March 23, 2015;
• $65 million of 2% notes due Dec. 23, 2014;
• $100 million of 1% notes due March 23, 2026;
• $300 million of 1.5% notes due Sept. 23, 2014; and
• $250 million of 2.35% notes due Sept. 23, 2016.
