Fannie Mae plans to redeem $1.9 billion medium-term notes at par

San Diego, April 15 - Fannie Mae said that it will redeem $1.9 billion of its medium-term notes, according to a press release.
The redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.
The following securities will be redeemed April 26:
• $50 million of 5.875% notes due April 26, 2021;
• $50 million of 2.2% notes due Nov. 26, 2013;
• $350 million of 1.125% notes due April 26, 2013;
• $75 million of 0.75% notes due April 26, 2013; and
• $1.1 billion of 2.05% notes due April 26, 2013.
The following securities will be redeemed April 27:
• $50 million of 1.375% notes due April 27, 2012;
• $50 million of 1.25% notes due April 27, 2015;
• $50 million of 4.75% notes due April 27, 2020;
• $75 million of 1% notes due July 27, 2015; and
• $50 million of 1% notes due July 27, 2015.
