Fannie Mae to redeem $1.45 billion of its medium-term notes Aug. 12

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 2 - Fannie Mae said it will redeem $1.45 billion of its medium term notes at par plus interest to Aug. 12, the redemption date.

Affected are the following securities:

• $15 million of 2.5% notes due Feb. 12, 2024;

• $15 million of 4.125% notes due Feb. 12, 2024;

• $10 million of 4% notes due Feb. 12, 2024;

• $10 million of 4.4% notes due Aug. 12, 2013;

• $110 million of 5% notes due Aug. 12, 2024;

• $25 million of 4% notes due Aug. 12, 2024;

• $50 million of 5.2% notes due Aug. 12, 2024;

• $15 million of 5% notes due Aug. 12, 2024;

• $25 million of 3.45% notes due Aug. 12, 2015;

• $170 million of 2% notes due Aug. 12, 2013;

• $50 million of 2.25% notes due Feb. 12, 2015;

• $50 million of 3% notes due Feb. 12, 2018;

• $100 million of 2.4% notes due Feb. 12, 2014;

• $200 million of 3.02% notes due Feb. 12, 2015;

• $250 million of 2.7% notes due Aug. 12, 2014;

• $25 million of 4% notes due Nov. 12, 2024;

• $30 million of 3% notes due Nov. 12, 2024;

• $25 million of 4% notes due Nov. 12, 2019;

• $30 million of 3.5% notes due May 12, 2017;

• $60 million of 3% notes due Nov. 12, 2024;

• $30 million of 4% notes due Nov. 12, 2024;

• $15 million of 4% notes due Nov. 12, 2019;

• $40 million of 4% notes due Nov. 12, 2021;

• $50 million of 2.5% notes due Feb. 12, 2015; and

• $50 million of 1.25% notes due Nov. 12, 2013.
