Fannie Mae calls medium-term notes totaling $2.21 billion at par

Milwaukee, April 16 - Fannie Mae announced that it will redeem a total of about $2.21 billion of its medium-term notes.
Fannie Mae said in a news release that the redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.
Affected are the following securities:
• $1 billion of 1.5% notes due April 26, 2012, to be redeemed April 26;
• $330 million of 5% notes due April 26, 2017, to be redeemed April 26;
• $100 million of 1.25% notes due April 27, 2011, to be redeemed April 27;
• $50 million of 2% notes due Jan. 27, 2012, to be redeemed April 27;
• $25 million of 2% notes due Jan. 27, 2012, to be redeemed April 27;
• $15 million of 2.03% notes due Jan. 27, 2012, to be redeemed April 27;
• $70 million of 1% notes due April 27, 2012, to be redeemed April 27;
• $25 million of 1.25% notes due April 27, 2012, to be redeemed April 27;
• $50 million of 3% notes due April 27, 2015, to be redeemed April 27;
• $40 million of 1.2% notes due Oct. 28, 2011, to be redeemed April 28;
• $100 million of 1.25% notes due Oct. 28, 2011, to be redeemed April 28;
• $35 million of 1.25% notes due Oct. 28, 2011, to be redeemed April 28;
• $80 million of 1.25% notes due Oct. 28, 2011, to be redeemed April 28;
• $25 million of 4% notes due April 28, 2014, to be redeemed April 28;
• $25 million of 2% notes due July 28, 2014, to be redeemed April 28;
• $10 million of 1.5% notes due Oct. 28, 2014, to be redeemed April 28;
• $25 million of 2% notes due Oct. 28, 2014, to be redeemed April 28;
• $50 million of 3% notes due Oct. 28, 2014, to be redeemed April 28;
• $25 million of 2.25% notes due April 28, 2015, to be redeemed April 28; and
• $125 million of 3.25% notes due April 28, 2015, to be redeemed April 28.
