Fannie Mae plans to redeem $831.72 million notes at par in January

San Diego, Dec. 31 - Fannie Mae announced in a news release that it will redeem $831,719,000 of its notes in January.

According to the news release, the redemption price will be the principal amount plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

The redemption will occur over two days. On Jan. 10, $21,319,000 of 5.25% notes due Jan. 10, 2023, and $75 million of 2% medium-term notes due July 10, 2013, will be redeemed.

The remainder of the notes will be redeemed on Jan. 12 and include the following:

• $50 million of 1.5% medium-term notes due Jan. 12, 2015;

• $60.4 million of 2.3% medium-term notes due Jan. 12, 2016;

• $125 million of 1.5% medium-term notes due July 12, 2013;

• $250 million of 1.55% medium-term notes due July 12, 2013; and

• $250 million of 1.05% medium-term notes due July 12, 2012.
