Fitch rates U. of Pittsburgh Medical Center bonds AA-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a rating of AA- to $250 million Allegheny County, Pa., Hospital Development Authority, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, revenue bonds, series 2008B. Fitch also said it affirmed the AA- rating on the authority's outstanding parity debt and affirmed the F1+ on the outstanding series 2005B bonds.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds will be used primarily to refinance portions of the authority's existing debt and fund ongoing capital expenditures, Fitch said.
