S&P rates University of Pittsburgh Medical bonds AA-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA- standard long-term rating to Allegheny County Hospital Development Authority, Pa.'s $500 million of series 2008A revenue bonds, issued for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed its AA- standard long-term rating and underlying rating on the various bonds issued for the center and affirmed the AA-/A-1+ ratings on the center's various bonds.

S&P also said it affirmed the ratings of AA-/A-1+ on the center's various bonds.
