New Issue: RBC prices $27.03 million Accelerated Return Notes on technology stocks

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 4 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $27.03 million of 0% Accelerated Return Notes due Oct. 25, 2019 linked to a basket of four technology sector stocks, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying companies are Facebook, Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., Netflix, Inc. and Alphabet Inc., each with a 25% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of any basket gain, up to a maximum return of 19.5%.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

BofA Merrill Lynch is the underwriter.
