New Issue: UBS prices $3.5 million 8% contingent yield trigger autocalls tied to 10 tech stocks

Chicago, Aug. 22 – UBS AG, London Branch priced $3.5 million of trigger autocallable contingent yield notes due Aug. 20, 2020 linked to a basket of 10 equally weighted stocks, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The underlying companies are Apple Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., Baidu, Inc., Facebook, Inc., Alphabet Inc., Micron Technology, Inc., Netflix, Inc., Nvidia Corp. and Twitter, Inc.
The notes pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 8% if the basket closes at or above its 73% coupon barrier on the observation date for that quarter.
The notes will be called at par if the basket closes at or above its initial level on any review date after six months.
The payout at maturity will be par unless the basket finishes below its 73% trigger level, in which case investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline.
