New Issue: JPMorgan prices $1.25 million contingent coupon callable yield notes linked to Facebook

By Jennifer Chiou

New York, Feb. 2 – JPMorgan Chase & Co. priced $1.25 million of contingent coupon callable yield notes due Feb. 2, 2017 linked to the common stock of Facebook, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each quarter, the notes will pay a coupon at a rate of 10% per year if Facebook stock closes at or above the barrier level, 70% of the initial share price, on the observation date for that quarter.

If the final share price is greater than or equal to the barrier level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the share price decline.
