New Issue: CIBC sells $2.64 million contingent coupon autocallable notes on stocks

Chicago, March 28 – Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce priced $2.64 million of contingent coupon autocallable notes due May 3, 2024 linked to the worst performing of the stocks of Amazon.com, Inc., Facebook, Inc. and Netflix, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a quarterly coupon at an annualized rate of 19.68% if each stock closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 80% of its initial share price, on the related observation date.

The notes will be called at par plus the coupon if each stock closes above its initial share price on any quarterly autocall observation date after six months.

The payout at maturity will be par unless any stock finishes below its 80% principal barrier level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the losses of the worst performer.
