New Issue: TD Bank prices $555,000 autocallable contingent interest barrier notes on three stocks

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 13 – Toronto-Dominion Bank priced $555,000 of autocallable contingent interest barrier notes due Aug. 31, 2023 linked to the common stocks of Facebook, Inc., Amazon.com, Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each quarter, the notes will pay a contingent interest payment at the rate of 11% per year if each stock closes at or above the barrier price, 65% of the initial share price, on the observation date for that quarter.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent interest payment if the shares of each stock close at or above the initial price on any quarterly call observation date other than the final one.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the final contingent interest payment unless the least performing stock finishes below the barrier price, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the laggard stock’s decline.
