Allegheny County, Pa., intends to issue $50 million TRANs

New York, Dec. 16 - Allegheny County of Pennsylvania plans to bring to market $50 million of series 2011 tax and revenue anticipation notes, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes (MIG1) will be sold competitively, though no pricing date has been set. Public Financial Management Inc. is the financial adviser.

The notes are due April 5, 2011.

Proceeds will be used to fund current operating expenses ahead of the collection of taxes and other revenues.
