Fitch rates EXIM Thailand notes BBB+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an expected rating of BBB+ to Export-Import Bank of Thailand’s proposed senior unsecured notes.

Fitch rates the notes at the same level as EXIM’s long-term foreign-currency issuer rating, as they will constitute the bank’s unsecured and unsubordinated obligations, the agency said.

EXIM plans to use the proceeds to fund asset growth and for general corporate purposes.
