Moody's gives Kexim notes A1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A1 rating to the Export-Import Bank of Korea's proposed benchmark-size dollar-denominated senior fixed-rate notes under the its shelf program. The maturity of the notes is not yet finalized.

The outlook is stable.

The rating is subject to receipt of final document.

The ratings reflect the bank's status as a government-related issuer, Moody's said.

The bank's rating also incorporates the high probability that it will maintain a strategic importance to the government, given the importance of the export sector to the Korean economy, the agency said.
