Moody's assigns Kexim notes Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 rating to the Export-Import Bank of Korea's (Kexim) proposed Mexican pesos senior notes issued under the Securities and Exchange Commission registered shelf program.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said that this rating is subject to receipt of final documentation, the terms and conditions of which are not expected to change in any material way from the draft documents Moody's has reviewed.

Kexim's ratings reflect the application of Moody's rating methodology for government-related issuers and that agency said that the Aa3 rating reflects the combination of a baseline credit assessment of 7, the Aa1 Korean local currency deposit ceiling, high dependence and high support.
